How to check for the bike/dock availability at each rental site?

You may check for the bike/dock availability at each rental site at the moment through T-Bike official website. If a smart phone is in use, you may also download the official APP; the APP provides T-Bike rental site inquiry service and users are welcome to use it.

When registered cards have a balance of NT$ 0 (or negative value)

If registered iPass, Tainan Civil Card or Easycard has a balance of NT$ 0 or negative values in it, the user will not be able to access T-Bike rental service by regulation. Please top up at available service sites before accessing the service.

When registered cards have a balance that is insufficient

When using iPass (including Tainan Civil Card) or Easycard to access the rental system, the card balance needs to be more than NT$ 10. If the rental charge exceeds the card balance for one-time bike rental, the card will not be charged for that trip when returning the bike; however, the card needs to be topped up at available service sites before the next bike rental, or the system cannot charge for the previous bike rental and the card will be suspended from accessing T-Bike rental system.

How to handle abnormal transactions

Please dial T-Bike service hotline: 0800-527527 immediately; for mobile phones, please dial 06-291-0080 instead (or transfer from 1999, the Citizen Hotline) to get customer support.

What to do with your T-Bike if it breaks down during your ride

If the T-Bike breaks down during your ride, or has been broken before you ride it, please return it at the nearest rental sites and rent other bikes instead. Also, please dial T-Bike service hotline (or transfer from 1999, the Citizen Hotline) and report issues about broken bikes to speed up the repair process.

What to do if your T-Bike is lost

(1) Please dial T-Bike service hotline: 0800-527527 immediately for customer support, and report to the police. Afterwards please submit the police report form to T-Bike service center. (2) If the bike is not found after three months, the user will need to pay for its residuals according to below formula: Formula of bike reparation: payment amount = original purchase price - depreciation Bike depreciation = original purchase price*(serviced years/<durable years+1>) = original purchase price*(serviced months/48) Remarks: 1. Durable years: 3 years 2. After the bike’s durable years, the reparation amount will be counted using 36 months. 3. The bike’s residuals will be NT$ 3,125 per bike after 3 years exceeding its durable years.

What to do if your registered card is lost during/not during rental of T-Bikes

(1) Losing registered cards not during rental of T-Bikes Please dial service hotline: 0800-527527. Customer service personnel will confirm the identity of the user to make sure he/she is the registered member under that card, and check in the system to make sure it is not during rental of T-Bikes, and suspend the registered card afterwards. (2) Losing registered cards during rental of T-Bikes Please return the rented bike to T-Bike rental sites, and call service hotline: 0800-527527. Customer service personnel will confirm the identity of the user to make sure he/she is the registered member under that card, and check in the system to make sure the bike has been returned, and suspend the registered card afterwards.

Whether it will affect your use of other public transport service (e.g. buses) if your registered card is locked

If the registered card is suspended by the Service owing to unreturned bikes, abnormal transactions, lost cards or other reasons, its other functions will not be affected; only the access to Tainan City T-Bike Public Bicycle Rental System will be disabled. If the card is damaged or lost, members should report the case and proceed to lost-card process with each responsible authorities.
